Naturcup is available in three sizes for adapting itself to any women, depending of the time of their lives, namely:

SIZE 0 - TEENAGERS: Recommended for girls under 18 who do not have regular sexual intercourses and having low flow periods.

SIZE I: For women from 18 to 30 who have not given birth vaginally.

SIZE II: For women over 30 or who have given birth vaginally.

We recommend size II due to the long useful life of the cup, so no leaks shall occur and you shall not have to buy a new one shortly. We recommend you size II because it has a long useful life, in this way no leaks shall occur and you don’t need to buy a new cup shortly. We suggest size II alter you are 30 since hips expand naturally when we get older getting older and vaginal muscles loss elasticity although you had never given birth.

Naturcup is a good option for teenagers: size 0 that is smaller and adapts better to her vaginal muscles that are usually firmer. Perhaps your daughter may need a little more practice to learn how to properly place it as she is less familiar with her body. Virginity shall not be an obstacle – please see next question.

Yes, although it is not advisable if you want to keep your hymen intact.

Perhaps you may feel it immediately alter having inserted it and/or the first times you are wearing it. But when you hall become familiar with it the cup is so comfortable that you shall forget you are wearing it and shall not be worried about any string hanging out that gets wet when you need to take a piss.

Naturcup is made of a very soft and flexible silicone. For insertion you have to fold it occupying less than half room taken when open and when fully inside it is not much larger than a tampon after having absorbed flow.

Naturcup can content up to 29 g liquid. Average volume of a menstrual flow is 3 times its capacity. It shall be emptied 2-3 times a day, depending of your flow. You can wear it for up to 12 hours, so you can use the cup along all night. You yourself shall see the time interval being the most appropriate for your body.

Just empty it, use damp paper towels or toilet paper for cleaning the cup and insert it again. Wait for a best occasion to wash it with water and soap. Another alternative is always having with you a bottle of water to rinse it.

In general, no leaks occur. For women used to worn it, Naturcup offers them a protection being more reliable than tampons. The most important thing is to check that it has been properly inserted- this may take a little practice when starting.

If leaks appear, please check to see whether you are wearing the proper size and you empty it as often as required. Please consider that you are bleeding while you insert your Naturcup, so you may have some residual blood in your vagina.
It is advisable to use a panty-liner before you feel safe with your cup.

For some women it is easy to insert the cup, but sometimes it does not open after inserted. This is very easy to be solved: just hold the bottom of the cup and make it turn gently. With this movement it shall open in the vagina.

No, Naturcup is bell-shaped and placed at the vagina entrance. Nor it can be used as a method of contraception.

Yes, you can wear Naturcup with an IUD on. Be sure you place correctly the cup and make your gynaecologist check quite often which the strings’ position is. Strings should not be very long.

No risk exits of catching a vaginal infection because of the cup if the same has been properly sterilized.
